An early fruiting berry that produces large, glossy, red-black fruit in Summer. A cross between marionberry and boysenberry. The silvanberry is a tasty small soft thorned variety. Thrives in an open, sunny position in well drained soil. Prune old canes to the ground in Winter. Plant requires support. Water well when fruit is forming.
